I have some commercials I voiced years ago (probably back in the 90's).
Are they too old to use in a demo?
I'm working toward getting back into VO work.
I plan on recording some new copy, but it would be sample scripts just to create a demo.
Suggestions are appreciated!
Regards,

I'd say it depends. If you're talking about the new 1992 Yugo, then it's probably not appropriate to include. Also, does the style of commercial and VO match today's? We watched an old copy of the 1984 summer olympics a few weeks ago and the announcers were very announcer-y. _________________ Jeff

I say ditch it all.
If you really really like the copy of one of the spots— re-cut it.
My voice has changed quite a bit in the lat 10 years; I'd guess it would be the same for anyone. _________________ DBCooperVO.com
