Hello Gang,
I just got a call from an old poker buddy who happens to work at an ad agency. He has a client - a major regional sporting event stadium - who is doing 3 x :30 "pre-rolls." That was a new term to me. "Pre-rolls" are spots that run before you see a longer video on the web - like if you watch a trailer on rottentomatoes.com, you have to sit through a :30 spot before the trailer runs.
I've never done anything quite like this, so I'm coming here hoping for guidance. I have done short podcasts for Shell and Butterball Turkey at $500 a crack, but that seem too high for this. I don't want to overcharge my client or underpay myself. He seems to not be overly sensitive to price, which is NICE.
Thanks for your thoughts on this! _________________ Best regards,

Did you win when playing poker?
Go with your gut. Rates for internet spots are actually higher than some broadcast markets per spot (R.E.: AFTRA). New Media is becoming more popular and the fees are commensurate.
Be good to yourself.
