|
|
I've been working with Insight Creative Group in Oklahoma City the past few years and they're producing the Oklahoma Addy Awards this weekend. They asked me to voice a couple of knock-offs of the Real Men of Genius ads for entertainment's sake. I'm clearly not the same voice as the original ads, but I had fun giving it a fling. I'm sure it would help a bit to know the local ads they're giving a nod to, but we all know the types:

Excellent job Bruce. Maybe just a bit more surliness and a tad less reverb and you've nailed it! Good copywriting, too.
I remove my scarf to you, sir! _________________ www.asapaudio.com |

Bruce,
That was (as always) brilliant!
Did you also perform the singing?
The message was spot on, too.
Absolutely loved it. |

Thanks y'all. The ad agency provided the music and singer so it tweren't me doin' the singing (but I'll bet he's available for future parody work).

The original Real Men of Genius campaign was voiced by Pete Stacker (http://petestacker.com/) in Chicago. The story behind the campaign itself is pretty good, too.
Great job Bruce!
By the way, since Budweiser was purchased, have there been any additions to this campaign beyond parodies? _________________ Genus |
