Great price for a yummy mic. I love how I sound through a 2247 in a local studio. Too bad I've already blown my studio budget for the next year or so... _________________ Best regards,

Thanks for the bump, Tom.
Just so everyone knows, this is the 2247 which is a short body. It's not the 2247 LE or SE. Just wanted to clarify since there seems to be a lot of confusion on other boards when 2247's are for sale. _________________ Josh Mahler

Can you explain what the difference is between the various 2247 versions? _________________ Best regards,

I'm not exactly sure of all the differences, but I know each has different tubes, different frequency response and maybe different capsules? I'm pretty sure that the one I'm selling is darker than the SE and LE versions. Here's the description of mine from the Peluso site...
This microphone is inspired by and styled after the "Neumann U-47", which was modified by German Radio in the '70s to incorporate a glass triode tube. That modification brought it up to broadcast standards. The Peluso 22 47 has the additional feature of 9 polar patterns, controlled from the power supply. It captures the low frequency nuances of the original "47" with smooth mids and balanced highs.
The microphone comes as a complete system, with Microphone in Wood Box, Power Supply, 7 Conductor Cable, and Shock Mount in Flight Case. _________________ Josh Mahler

I would just like to go on record saying that Josh is a guy who can be trusted, so no worries when dealing with him. We've done deals in the past and he's a very honest person and will be prompt in responding to any emails you send.

Still available, and recently serviced by John Peluso including a new tube, so it's in perfect working order. Condition is like new. _________________ Josh Mahler
