I can't seem to get very good results from my snowball. I've got the high gain patch, but setting 2 and 3 are still quiet. Setting 1 gives me good volume, but the sound seems rather flat.

Any other snowball users out there had success with this thing?

No personal experience other than playing around with a friend's. Good for Podcasting and SKYPE, but not much else, IMHO...

I use setting 1 and I can't use it without a pop filter in my HH box which is working well for me...otherwise it sounds the microphone version of a close 'n play

Thanks Greg....I do lose track of time and the relevance of references... Rolls Eyes It's all part of the aging process I think.

I drive my kids nuts cause I consistently call my iPod a "walkman"....a mind is a terrible thing - at least in my case.

I had good luck with setting "3" which is the same setting that Rodney Saulsberry uses for his Josh Groban Promos. Also, I talk towards the top of the Snowball rather that straight into the front of it. That seems to make a difference for me at least.
