My wife scoffs at the thought of me buying her jewelry (cause she prefers not to wear any) and asked for two replacement windows this Christmas.

Gonna be cold replacing windows in December....

There is a way around it, though. You can get something practical, as long as it's not the only thing, or the biggest/best thing. And make sure you label it as "from Santa". Smile)

WRONG that way you get on my naught list and you end up in the dog house
because she knows I wouldn't do that

It's true. when we were in new york, hubby bought me a new mic.
And i love it way more than i would have a piece of jewelry, perfume, etc.

if i were to receive a vacuum cleaner or iron , etc as a gift...CORRECTION would be necessary!
cool

Hilarious. We actually thought about naming our boat "The Dog House."

I actually wouldn't mind a good vacuum cleaner for Christmas, but as has been said, it couldn't be the only gift.

Our anniversary, my birthday and Christmas fall within a month of each other. Tony made one big trip to his jeweler friend (a good friend to have) and brought home 3 little red bags. There's one little red bag left.... so far, he's done well. Wink
