I am trying to determine why the "Resource limit reached" error keeps showing up.

It was a plague for a while, then it stopped, and then was making things difficult again for me, at least out here in the goddam hinterlands.

Massive numbers of Bots have been trying to access the old message board, and since it shares the domain name, the server for this board was getting hammered and throwing errors.
Please let me know if you get a "Resource Limit Reached" error.

Not surprised at all, must have been vexing there for a while. I notice the same thing on my websites; nearly all the traffic is just bots these days. Bleak.
