I had the opportunity to meet an amazing photographer, Tanit Sakakini, this summer when she did a photo shoot of me for the Boston Globe Magazine. She was amazing and her work is wonderful (I was thrilled with how she made me look even if the art director was a little off the mark!). Anyway, she just sent me an email saying that she's involved in a project with a small crew who are traveling to PA, OH, IN, MI and NH interviewing women named Sara/Sarah who support Obama. I thought I'd pass on the link on the off chance you know of anyone who would want to take part in this film. Knowing Tanit, it could be something much bigger in the end.

Seems like kind of an odd hook for a feature story. I wonder if they'll also be scouring the countryside looking for guys named Joe who are supporting McCain.

Having spent much of the morning speaking with a friend about her travels to many beautiful yet un-pronouncable Asian places, and then having read a script that required more phonetics than I've ever seen, for some reason my brain immediately went to trying to pronounce PA, OH, IN, MI and NH as a single word.
My mouth went from Asia, to Africa to the plains of North America with clicks and all kinds of weird mouth movements, before my brain engaged and rationalized the text to be abbreviations / acronyms!
Kinda feeling stupid, but hey, it's been one of those weeks!
Just thought I'd share.

Diane, really? She's brilliant but probably an arm and a leg. But so much fun!
I have another g.f. who does gorgeous wedding work, too, so let me know. I can give you names and numbers. Heck, I've got a really nice camera and I love an open bar so I'll just come take them for free  .
