My neighbor got a new leaf blower and weed wacker. He apparently is very happy with them - although he has a rather small yard, he's been at it for some time now with no signs of stopping. So....we switch gears, do paper work, run the laundry and hope he runs out of yard to attack before too long... hoping I'll get to turn the mic on before the school bell rings and afternoon chaos comes home with the youngins.

Ah.....voicing in the 'burbs! Rolls Eyes

The joys of warm weather.

You might let your naybor know that it's actually okay to stay outside and enjoy teh day even after he's done whacking weeds and blowing leaves - having the yard equipment turned on is not required.

At least it's not flying squirrels in the walls!!! Gasp

Or car alarms going off for 5 minutes, or fire engines blarring, or neighbors in the parking lot barbecuing and blasting their music ( hey we city dwellers want to barbecue too, ya know), or kid in apartment upstairs whose in a rock band practicing etc. Welcome to city living. I love it.

My new neighbors' kids have ATVs they've been running up and down the street the last few days. I expect they'll have sleds (aka snowmobiles) in the wintah.

The only immediate threats I have in my wee space in the basement so far are the boiler and the washer/dryer just above my head. Overall, not too bad. At least I have insulated walls around me.
