Last week I discovered I had never been sent a renewal reminder or invoice for my WoVo membership (it should have come in February), so today I paid up, signed up for WoVoCon, booked my hotel and flight. Looking forward to seeing you and all the other former Faffers, other friends and colleagues, as well as meeting some new ones there.
If it's as good as last year's in Orlando, I'll be happy (but I think it could be even better).

Y'know when you cheat the budget so that the final figure is guaranteed to be lower than the worst case scenario? It didn't work this time.

The same weekend as WoVo Com we have in Fochabers "A Voiceover and A Dutch Airline Captain have supper and a few drinks followed by a Taxi home

Her Mother contacted me to say that there was a gathering of the Clan on the Island of Jersey to celebrate Elisa turning 40. I was told to keep schtum. On the day of the gathering she arrived to see the people she expected to see and then she spotted an elderly and frail man. Have to admit to being completely unprepared for the reaction + the coincidence of getting something in my eye. 2 flights, 2 4+hour drives. SO worth it.
