I've said it before, and I'll say it again. At least I'll be dead soon. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

Most of the reporting on it so far has been based on not having seen the actual agreement. SAG AFTRA just posted a link with more information on the topic a bit ago.
https://www.sagaftra.org/member-message-regarding-new-replica-studios-agreement
Maybe that answers some questions? I dunno. The actual agreement link is 404 at the moment. I'm looking forward to reading the whole thing before the FAQ and summary, of which those links are working. |

I read it. It's not really that different from some of the gossip I've seen. The AI advance is inevitable and I think this agreement is short sighted. Then again, I'm very pessimistic about almost everything for 2024. My only hope is a complete breakdown of society. I think I could become a regional warlord relatively quickly. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

Watch this, people! Zeke not only does a great job of explaining how our various contracts are negotiated but he answers dozens of questions regarding The Replica AI SAG-AFTRA Agreement. Zeke is on my animation contract negotiation committee which we are about to go into, and I cannot be more thrilled to have him. As co-chair of this committee, a good leader surrounds himself with people who are smarter than they are. Zeke fits the bill! He knows AI and contract logistics backwards and forwards. This is a long video, but worth the time to view it! https://navavoices.org/2024/01/17/nava-zeke-alton-replica-studios-agreement-ama/?fbclid=IwAR14Hwx48YNPvmUL009ByBy3aaoaD-immROQ2YTAlORmJVMG3H-6KVdc4G8 |
