Oooo-rah!

Here is the culmination of the project that has consumed my every waking creative moment for the last month or so.

Dylan is Knuckles-- one of the guys from the Sonic the Hedgehog games.

Here are his gloves and shoes.

Man-- I feel like I have my life back.

Aw shucks, you guys.

Younger Bear has his costume on at school today. They're doing Seussical The Musical starting this Friday and have a dress-up day today.

I wish I had had some time to take photos today before school-- the light was stupendous.

Dylan came home with a costume prize from school--unexpected because it wasn't promoted as a contest! Cool prize, too--Barnes and Noble gift card.

The girls at school liked the costume. A bevy of beauties was heard chriping about how they got to hug Knuckles.

Sounds like he would be a welcome addition to the Free Hugs Coalition.

I admire your talent and skills enormously. Envy comes in, however, in contemplating your ability to plan ahead. I was out shopping for a white sheet at 4:00 Tuesday afternoon for a kid's ghost costume. Pathetic.

Deirdre, would you like to come for a visit next August? And bring a very large suitcase???
