I recently recorded a radio aircheck, but I did read it off a script like a voiceover script, and I would like to know how I score on the following aspects.
Was it conversational and natural?
Was the energy good?
Is my accent conducive to radio presenting in the USA?

It sounded prepared as in a radio gossip show format. Yes it’s energetic but your accent is too thick for most American ears. Slowing down a bit might help, but still it’s a bit much. Keep listening to and learning from American voices and you can get there.

Ah, I see. About the gossip format, you mean the style of reading or the script? |
