Interesting. We spend good money every year or so getting rid of the moss on our roof and sidewalks, so bringing it inside sounds odd here.

Things that make you go: "hmmmmm".
Sawdust, clay, and hydrated lime would be more stable and less "wet" and still GREEN. I do however think the added O2 would be nice in a studio environment.

I'm not so sure about that. In my house, the air conditioner runs 24/7/365 and the humidity hovers pretty constantly between 50-60%, which is the range that most people find comfortable.. It's perfectly livable, and there is no sign of any sort of damage to my equipment or anything else. According to what I have read, the humidity would have to get up over 70% to encourage mold growth, and closer to 80% to cause damage to electronic equipment. That said, I wouldn't want those things inside my house. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

OK... 60x40cm... allowing for early-morning maths, that's about 2ft x 1.5ft. You get four pieces, so that's 12sq ft for $720 (599EUR)... about 60USD per square foot.
Apart from everything else it's got going for it... I think it's actually cheaper than branded Auralex
(it's too early in the morning for good sarcasm... just roll with the simple snark for the moment) _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

"...[C[heaper than branded Auralex" is the leading candidate for Witticism of the Weekend :)
Auralex is masterful at marketing, I'll give them that. To make so much money off something that does so little... Impressive. _________________ Jack Daniel

George gets the "Green Thumb Award".
With the sawdust idea you CAN paint it green however (or any color you want). I used a 3D mold to make panels and have a nice design on a wall, and it looks nice.

George, you probably know this, but if you use Roxul instead of the OC you can cover with anything you want, since Roxul is nontoxic. And it works just as well... _________________ Jack Daniel

I hear you. I certainly wouldn't bother changing over if I already had 703 installed. _________________ Jack Daniel
