The weather was fablus today so we took a drive. There are only four ferries that transport cars and people in Oregon these days when there used to be hundreds. We took one of them near the town of Canby:
We also passed by this fine establishment enjoyed by visiting Brits and others:
Much to do here in the Beaver State.

It seems oh so appropriate to lay this bit of trivia on y'all. The state flag of Oregon is the only state flag in America that has a different image on each side! Look that up in your Funk & Wagnalls...

My old stomping grounds. Wankers has been around since the 1930's. The owner loved to collect odds and ends from pop culture. So much so, he opened a new location in Wilsonville, OR to fit it all. The nachos are to die for. (Homer Simpson drooling sfx) |
