Think about it! You spend the first hour of you working day getting 3 jobs at you minimum session fee, in my case $350 which covers up to an hour of my time. Income $1050 per day. Should you get no repeat clients, work 4 days a week and take 6 weeks holiday per year that's close to $200,000 per year.
It really is a no brainer, isn't it?

These numbers are wunnerful... all it pre-supposes is that it only takes 20 minutes to get a gig, and you'll always get the gig simply on the basis of that 20 minutes you invested. 100% of the time.
A tad simplistic and not quite based in reality methinks. However, Jonathan Tilley is considered something of a doyen (if not a guru!) in the VO marketing field, so it must be true, right?

... but if taking the piss makes people think, then it's serious.

Sure, it takes 20 minutes or less to reel in most fish once they’ve been hooked. What’s more important is all the time and effort it takes to find them and then get them to bite the bait.

A good tip-off is when he uses words like "totally" and "awesome" and peppers his comments with many question marks and exclamation points.
I hear he's got a wicked poker face, though.
