I’ve always had my own rate card, but lately for work that doesn’t come from an agent, I’ve been using the GVAA Rate Guide. I always ask their budget first, but if it’s low, I can send the client the link and it looks more ‘Universal’ for lack of a better word, than just forwarding them my rate card.
Just curious if others are using this for non-union work, and thoughts on the guide itself as well.

I use it and one of my agents uses it when they run across low budget producers so they see what reasonable rates should be. |
