Our lovely, but antiquated (in software terms) Bulletin Board program for the VO-BB lets you, the registered user, do and change all kinds of things in your Profile. But one absolute NO-NO is changing your email. The way it is designed you will lock yourself out if you try, permanently, and you cannot fix it.
Luckily I can, but it takes a bit of time, and three recitations of an old Romany incantation that I have not written down.... and even if I say it right it doesn't always work on the first try.
SO, PLEASE DON'T CHANGE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS. ASK ME AND I SHALL MAKE IT HAPPEN, DEAR FRIEND.

It's confusing because if you go in to edit your profile, it says that is a required field. So even if you enter your current email address (as I did the first time I edited my profile), you get locked out _________________ www.TonerVoice.com |

My fault I fear. I need to enter a new registrant's email as well as user name and password. I'm updating the "Read Me First" section on joining.

Just a reminder, if you want to change your email, don't! Our antiquated software won't handle you changing your own. Your dear moderator has to do it or you will be frozen out until I fix it. I only bring it up because the fourth person has now done it in the past month.
Thanks!!

Thanks Bruce for getting me back in!
I've not checked in for a quite some time and thought I would. I was surprised that my login still worked Anyway, first thing I did was go to my profile to change the email address and boom, I'm locked out. I found this message after browsing a bit "from the outside".
Thanks again!
