Kevin, I agree that he editor was out to lunch. I was also very disappointed with her book. Teri has outdated material and use the wrong terms for some of equipment. She didn’t quite grasp the proper use of the equipment either. It was quite obvious to me that she usually works in the booth and had little understanding the technical aspects of the recording and editing processes. That's fine, but she should have at least consulted with an engineer or had one ghost-write (or re-write) those parts for her or confined her writing to the voice-talking aspect of the business.

That's my review in a nutshell.

Her book was the first one I picked up on the topic, but for some reason, it didn't resonate as much as the other books I've read since.

And yeah, I wish I had her problem, too. Smile
