Been pottering doing Butler/housekeeper stuff but have just realised that I have not done a stroke of "pay the bills work".

1615GMT... 1115EST... Due to excessive faffing around until 3am, I have just dragged my sorry rump out of my pit and am staring, blearily, at my screen. The coffee hasn't started working yet. No immediate plans to do anything worthwhile... except, maybe, stick my head in a bucket of water. I am not a morning person.

Dodging tornadoes with my students today. Can't wait to get home in front of the microphone.

I've not done a lick of work today and there is a backlog and looming deadlines. But I've got a great excuse - yesterday was snuggling a sick 8 yo and today is snuggling a sick 6 yo. Sometimes the best job is the one that doesn't pay.

Just got back from an "on site" session. Going into a pick-up session. Then non-related but necessary phone calls and then helping a friend out at a film screening tonight he's having tonight. Looking forward to the food.

Bish, no excuse. I faffed about til 2am. Mostly catching up on Mexican soaps.

I have an e-learning module that the client needs by the close of business on Friday. It's only Wednesday, so I'm procrastinating. But that's OK. What I'm doing to avoid a half hour of voicing is the (literally) housekeeping stuff I should have done on the weekend but put off until later. "Later" turns out to be now.

I follow in Peters footsteps. It was more of a horizontal melting into the floor, instead of getting out of bed. Then I crawled and got dressed.

Gymnastics, and idiocy like it, really hurt the day after.

Today was a completely lazy recovery day for me (I was sick with the stomach bug thingy yesterday). The game of catch-up starts tomorrow!

See! Some people can be bothered to maintain standards.

You've never heard one of my audiobooks. The standards are rather low.

Fine! I agreed to help out with stage managing a play by Neil Gaiman.

Am doing that silly rooster-strut you see from people about to engage in a round of fisticuffs.
