Today is the last day to get a $50 discount on an annual subscription.
As I no longer have a day job and want to move my VO business forward and upward I am considering signing up.
Based on a recent Facebook post, Bettye Zoller seems to think it's a good one.
I value the opinions of the people here and was just wondering what the general consensus is for this particular site.
Anybody care to share their experience or opinion?
Thanks in advance. _________________ Joe Rodriguez, Bilingual Voice Actor | The Voiceover Thespian Blog |

I don't use them so I can't give you an opinion there, but they give that "last chance" discount about every two weeks or so in their promotional emails, so don't feel you have to rush into it if you want to think about it some more.

I get about 6 emails a day from them saying that "today is the last day to get $50 off".
smoke and mirrors for the most part. _________________ j.s. gilbert

I had an experience with her that reflected very poorly on her professional demeanor ("voice talent are a dime a dozen."). There's no way I would want her to represent me to a client.
Also, they claim to be a "agent", but really, they're just a P2P. So you pay to be a part of their roster, like a P2P and they take 15% if you book the gig.
Also, Bettye and Donna are good buddies, so it makes sense that she'd be shilling for her friend. It's also a good idea to look at the credentials of those claiming to be experts in the field. _________________ Jeff

Brevity or detail? In the VO-BB we offer the answer best suited to meet the needs of our clients. Ask about our free bag of snark with every "People say I got me a good voice so where do I start" post. |

You want brevity?
Don't.
You want me to elaborate?
Not no, but hell no.
Clarity?

I had only heard of this site tangentially, but given the opinions expressed here I doubt I'd be doing business with them anytime in the future.
It goes to show you that how you comport yourself really does matter. _________________ Corey "Vox Man" Snow
