"Best life."
I can say "best." I can say "life."

Drop the "t" and most people in America - outside of tightly-wound voiceover talent - won't notice,

I uttered a few choice extra words that had to be edited out, along with numerous extraneous takes, of "Southwest 36th Street." _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Today mine was the word "quality." For some reason I was flooded with scripts using that word today so I stumbled over that bad boy from morning to evening. _________________ Be well,

Awesome, Anthony! That works!
What I ended up learning today is that, while I can't say "best life," I can say "bess tlife."

I had a session recently where pronouncing the word "synapse" was ridiculously impossible for me to do. _________________ J. Christopher

Today mine was Quote: | Privigen is indicated for the treatment of primary immunodeficiency disease and immune thrombocytopenic purpura, and is the first and only IVIg stabilized with proline | Oh yeah. Several takes on that puppy. _________________ Be well,

I'm picking up a pattern. I have trouble with L's if they follow a hard consonant. _________________ the Amy Snively family of brands for all your branded thing needs.

If you've ever read "Our Maginificent Bastard Tongue: The Untold Story of English" by John McWhorter, you learn that the written word in many languages was conceived as the best compromise for legibility among the dialects of and regions where that language was spoken. It is not meant to be spoken exactly as spelled.

Anthony-- I am a HUGE Dr. McWhorter fan! I own a fascinating lecture series he did for The Teaching Company called The Story of Human Language. He is fantastic! If you love his writing, you'll love listening to him speak. He's so smart, charming, funny. Love him! _________________ the Amy Snively family of brands for all your branded thing needs.
