Pastels work quite well... very feminine.
I agree with Jeffrey... to a point.

"... that fits" (to me) could also mean a shoe or a glove.
Very nice demos... I would lose the slate at the end... but keeping the front slate should be your option. _________________ "Bailey"

I understand how you feel. But to casting directors, that resume would say "newbie" loud and clear. In fact having a link that says "resume" on your home page says "newbie." So, if you're trying to downplay your newness, this is working against you.

Okay. What about having a "news" section where I could just make little posts to say "Hey this project just came out in stores nationwide" or "hey I was just cast in this".... or is that still too newbie? |

I am prone to post announcements like that on my site...

Once again "News" postings are good but one has to ensure that the content is news worthy to avoid them being perceived as "Wow! I can't believe it, I ACTUALLY managed to get a job!"
News must be news for them, not you. We all need to learn to walk a mile in the shoes of the people who hire us. In the same way that your demo has to engage so does your web site. |

I was thinking about using the news section for posting when things were released in stores or online for sale, in addition to announcing any big projects I may hopefully become a part of in the future.. Do you think that would be a good idea or do you think that is too amateur and making it sound like "Omg I really did a job!"..
Thanks Amy and Philip for your input. |

Well, we actually just took it all down and dressed it up a bit so it didn't look so barren. Would love to hear what you all think! Just the demos and contact info up there for now. _________________ www.michelleann.com |

Better, but I'd still get rid of the Flash "click here" issue...it's a very fast fix. Copy / paste and you'll be done in about a minute.
Also, is there some reason you're not using an e-mail address at michelleann.com? It's more professional to use e-mail at your own domain. _________________ Lou Zucaro

I really like Gmail, but I did set up michelle@michelleann.com. Guess my husband forgot to update it. Thanks. I'll also remind him to fix the click to activate. _________________ www.michelleann.com |

You can have your pro mail forward to your Gmail account.
It's worth it to have a domain-named e-mail. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

We actually got it set up so I can use gmail as a web client for michelle@michelleann.com w/o having to set up forwarding or anything. It's nifty!
We're still working on the click to activate issue. My husband was working on it to make do that and something or other (I'm not programming savvy) and it made the website break. For now, we're going to leave it up as is until he has more time tomorrow to work on it.
Thanks again for all the advice everyone. _________________ www.michelleann.com |

Not sure what you mean about the click to activate "issue". There are no extra buttons that I'm seeing using Firefox. It looks clean and neat. |

Hi Don, thanks for checking it out and leaving a comment. I believe "click to activate" is an IE thing, so you wouldn't come across that problem in Firefox. I honestly had no idea it was an issue, but my husband was aware of it.
Thanks again for checking out the site. _________________ www.michelleann.com |
