It was indeed a smashing success, but your absence was certainly felt, Peter, as the founding father of such events. You were spoken of with due reverence. You simply MUST make the next one. And it took on a life of its own, anyway. I must credit Erik Sheppard as my co-host.

I must say too, that it felt like one big happy family reunion -- even with those I had never met. I enjoyed each and every one of those in attendance. I wish I could have been part of the late crowd -- but I had a babysitter to pay!

I love New York.

(Man, Allison -- so that was the picture of me you guys were laughing at!) Salute was a cool place we found after Bryant Park escorted us out to set up for a wedding. We should thank the guys at Koi for that suggestion.

I wish we can do it as early as this Friday, but I can't make it back into the city for a few weeks. There goes my Jersey lingo! Ppl who live in NJ refer to Manhatten as "the city." Rolls Eyes

I'm looking foward to the next NYC VO Rendevouz. That's what I'm calling it for my Bushi-soi buddy . Liz, do you think that's spelled close enough? Sarcastic

Diane, we weren't laughing at that picture so much as we loved the look on your face. You appeared "silly" with empty wine glasses in front of you while Erick just looks plain 'ol silly.
For the record everyone, we weren't intoxicated. The bar at Bryant Park Grill just made good drinks. Laugh

This was definate fun. Pure fun. Can't wait to do it again.

I didn't make the late night crew, but speaking for those of us that left early (me), I did have an excellent time. A dozen charming, chatty vo people having drinks at 1 in the afternoon (some of those heavier drinks than others...) What's not to like? Lovely to meet you all.

As a side note, I'm not voicing anything today because we're getting a new roof...So, I took a nap amidst the banging...and dreamed the neighbors were out to get me. What a headache...
