You'd best get the maid and butler to tidy up things and plan the meal. _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

You have GOT to be kidding me! I just got done with my turn at the "my budget far exceeds your fee but please let me pay you all of it and you just refund the difference" scam.... sheesh... at least this one is obvious up front. Will ANYONE fall for that EVER? They must, or it wouldn't be worth the scammers' while! |

"Dear Ms. James:
I have reserved a total of seven rooms for the six voiceover trainees and yourself, and I am looking forward to welcoming you to my humble abode.
Since this is "the season" here, I hope you won't mind forwarding a small deposit to guarantee your stay, say in the neighborhood of $10,000 USD, to my account here in the states.
In the meantime, don't worry...be happy.
Vocally yours,
Norm Crosby"

Quote: | Hello leesa James,
My name is Guy Ig. Cognito ,I am a voice coach working for the Rhodesian Dalmation dramatic society. I was most pleased to recieve your e-mail.
I am available for service ,because you said " currently the Nigerian
films federation are seeking for a voice coach who will train thier actors
,for a movie project. "
My hobbies include worshipping the dark gods, acting, Norwegian Early Morning Yodelling and collecting anime cells for shows aired between 93-94.
Whilst your fees sounded generous I am not sure I can accept, unless you provide a luxury Hello Kitty Kennel for my dog. Lessons may happen in the third floor of my moving castle, where my bartender Moe will be pleased to serve you.
One final thought, I can also give lessons on spelling and grammer for an additional fee. Ideally I would like to be paid in cheese rather than money since we can not take money with us when we all die and the gret dark God comes to consume us all.
All hail Meaty God of Spam.

Hmmnn, I could use the highly regarded, highly connected VO coach in NYC that I've recently begun with...
or use this guy.
You know, somehow I think the choice is easy (and the train to NYC isn't that bad either). _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

Add me to the list of lucky recipients.
If Nigerian e-mail scammers are now specifically targeting VO pros, I'd say our profession has "arrived".
AKA, you're nobody 'til somebody scams you. I guess. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.
