Hi all,
I got the inspiration to do a poll after seeing Liz's. Like her I'm in the process of having a page done. I intend to use Godaddy.com for a domain and I would appreciate suggestions for a name. The following are possible domain names that are available. Please, please let me know your thoughts or your suggestions!
marymorganvo.com
marysvoice.com.
mary-vo.com
voiceofmary.com
speakmary.com
justsaymary.com |

Mary,
I'd say marymorganvo.com, or just marymorgan.com
Also, what part of Texas are you in ? I'm in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area and right now (BELIEVE IT or NOT !!! ) we are under a FREEZE advisory !!!! |

Hi Don,
Unfortunately marmorgan.com is already taken. You might be surprised how many women named Mary Morgan are out there. So adding VO at the end is my best bet if everyone thinks my first and last name should be used.
Oh, I'm in Dallas/Fort Worth. We were in the Freeze zone this past weekend. The streets are okay but the overpasses are still iced a bit. |

You folks don't know what COLD is... last night it was minus 16 F, and tonight... at least that or lower, here in the wilds of Utah.
www.marymorganvo.com is my vote too. It's simple and will work.
But I did like www.justsaymary.com You could do a lot with that one in terms of personal branding. This one while simple, has character, it has appeal, it has familiarity, it's seductive, and it adds an air of the mysteriousness to you. Just my $0.02 worth.

Frank,
It may not be AS cold here, BUT with the HUMDITY we have here on the Gulf Coast, the 30s are COOOLDDD !!!
BUUT, I spent a few weeks just outside Salt Lake( Camp Williams-Riverton I think), and I really FELL in LOVE with that part of UTAH !!!
Even with 16 below and worse- if my wife would let us, I'd move there in a NEW YORK minute !!!
Stay Warm and take care,
Don |

OK Tom,
You have me beat... I acquiesce.
Don: Park City is really nice: it's not part of Utah - really... O.K., it is, but - not... And, the Sundance Film Festival is not long in coming, again.
Live, from Park City, Utah... It's me...
Still liking "www.justsaymary.com"

First, Frank is absolutely right. I used to commute from Salt Lake City to Park City (did that for about a year) and I think you have to have a passport to get into Park City... it's a whole different country.
Second, I also like "JustSayMary.com". What a wonderful branding opportunity! _________________ Dave "Christi" Felton

Dave,
Gotta add, "I really like that one"... www.letmarysayit.com
Also, I love the VO-BB! Thanks DB.! Just got off the phone with Dave Christi (a former Utah-ite and Park City dweller). VO-BB, what a great way to meet folks in our business. Who'd a thunk it. Dave Christi, thanks for chatting...
The benefits of the VO-BB keep going, and going, and going...

Hi everyone,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your time and your opinions. Dave, I really like letmarysayit.com, I should have added it to the poll but I didn't think about it. I checked the name on godaddy.com and its available too.
This helps so much you guys! Now I need to summon what kind of image I want for the webpage |

Mary,
Domains are a buck cheaper per year at 1and1.com.
