After returning from a road trip where I encountered a room reflection issue I just could not tame, I started looking around for a mobile, easy transport, easy set up system to cure room reflection once and for all. I considered building my own PVC/Drape system for a desktop setup. Then I came across a product called VOMO.

Has anyone ever seen or used this? Looks like a great option.

It looks good and it's a lot tidier to carry around versus a home made rig with the included carrying case. Good find!

I have one and it does work. It helps to have some small pillows stuffed into the back corners for extra sound blocking from the back and a moving blanket on top, draped over your head.

Put an iPad or similar device in there for your script and you're good to go! cool

When on the road, I usually round up some local livestock and pack them into the room.

It handles the standing waves and reflections very nicely.

I could have tried that recently while spending some time on a Colorado ranch near Telluride. But the horns of the longhorn steers seemed a bit bothersome.
Also, the room reflection was horrendous. Blankets and pillows didn't help at all. But the kicker was the internet speed, which was in the low Kb...worse than old dial up speed...So I pushed everything to the day I returned home.

It's surprising to find that there are places in the USA that have internet that compares to tin can and string.
