I know I've been pretty snarky about the whole issue of AI, and I DO believe it will change our industry forever. However, I had an (interesting, informative?) chat with a client this week. This client is one of the larger eLearning producers in the world. I was told that they are adamantly against AI for voiceover because none of the AI companies will promise them exclusivity to THEIR product - the script as well as the VO. Once you turn something over to them - it's out there ... everywhere. There is no expectation of non-disclosure - it fact, it's just the opposite. Most of these eLearning companies live & die by privacy of information - obviously, that's gone with AI.

So, there's that.
