This is my 2nd commercial demo. First was cut in 2015, this was cut in 2020.
My goal is to carry national spots through Union work through top agencies in LA/NYC/CHI, so I'm wondering if this demo makes the cut or where it falls short. One Chicago agency took a pass due to their highly competitive roster. Another (DDO) said yes and I've been with them since January.
My goal is to find agents in LA and NY that will provide more unique commercial auditions than what I have today, and I included the character spot in the middle because while it is commercial, we wanted to show that I have range beyond just the speaking voice, which also highlights my love for animation.
Thanks for your thoughts as I continue to study!

Ya lost me on Cheerios. First of all, character voices do not belong on a commercial demo. They did in the '80s, but haven't for decades. And you do an impression of a commercial mascot that is well known? Well known by the agents whom you hope to be represented by? Well known by Charlie's agent, who voices those spots??? Big no no. Smaller offices like DDO might show interest, but if you are seeking to take your career up a notch, remove that before you send to the bigger LA/NY agencies.

Alright, Buzz has buzzed off and it's just me now. On to submitting we go! Thanks again for the feedback, Bob. If anything else comes to anyone's mind, totally open to the feedback. Updated demo with Buzz removed |
