Dave Letterman used to do a bit on his earlier shows, "Is It Anything?" and they'd show an unusual product or a monkey on a tricycle and try to determine if it really was "something". For your entertainment and judgement I present the latest "Voicey Awards". Really? Is it something?

Can one person fairly win one third of all the categories?

An algorithm can make it happen based on how effective X proved to be. X could be based on a number of factors, including statistical bias.

"There were no judges!" True, but there was a programmer.

In the real world, the Human factor looms large.

Last year I was nominated for a award, then became a finalist. Why? Because that may tempt me to attend the event AND if I told everybody I knew I'd be there it would encourage others to attend. Seriously over estimating my influence but no one can blame them for trying.

In our world, Awards are simply cynical marketing ploys and not for the benefit of the winners. Pity.

If there is an award for creating new awards, Lee Gordon should get one now!
