Hey hey!

I am running a Townsend Sphere L22 mic now and it is solid for me so I am selling a couple of my staples Smile

First Gen Apollo Twin Duo - $450 shipped

Warm Audio WA-87 Gen 1 - $400 shipped

Sennheiser MKH-416 - SOLD

Both are perfect and were my daily drivers until recently.

Shoot me a message or email if you are interested!

I'm so doing this too. I'm keeping one of my 416s, but I'm selling my U87 as I'm so happy with the L22!

Yuuuup Smile I have a first gen Apollo Twin and it has started interacting weird with my M1 Mac in a couple of ways that are pointing towards the need to upgrade. So I picked up an Apollo x6 and the L22 came with it free.

LOVE the L22 sphere. I still mostly use my 416 as the Sphere hasn't quite captured THAT mic's emulation for me but if I need an '87' mic on a project, I just go with the Sphere.
It's funny 'cause like most gearheads I'll see some new microphone come out and think 'Oh. That might come in handy' but then I realize 'well, I already have that mic in the L22 Sphere.'
Theoretically, as a voice actor you shouldn't need another microphone after the Sphere.

What are you guys mounting your L22 sphere to?
I've had mine on a Blue Compass for a few years but the Compass has finally given out on me.
Thanks

UPDATE: I got a GatorFrameworks boom arm (the one with the light) and it holds the Sphere like a champ.
