Especially to those who work only from home, what time of day have you found it best (having the least impact on work and being the most conducive for you) for exercise?
If you want to also share what your favorite types of exercise are, please do. Please feel free to reply here or by PM.
Thanks. _________________ Mike

I walk. I do a circuit around my neighborhood 2-3 times in the morning, twice at lunch and twice in the evening. I listen to music or podcasts while I walk. I usually clock 5 or 6 miles by the end of the day. |

Martial arts for me - in the early evening...and before eating a heavy meal. I try to get to class on a regular basis. Then again, home workouts are good too! _________________ "What was that? An exhibition? We need emotional content." - Bruce Lee, Enter The Dragon |

First thing in the morning before the sun rises I hit the gym. Only time I can workout for 90 minutes uninterrupted. |

Generally we go mid-afternoon; I switch up between a mile or so on the track and a brisk five-mile ride on the bike. then, about three times a week I do weights. It keeps me from getting bored. _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

Dog walk every morning around 7:30 and then again in the evening. I have ALL the classes I like at the Y (3 blocks away) programmed into my phone with a 15 minute warning. I used to go several times a week to yoga, step or body pump, but have gotten out of the habit!!! Time to respond to that ding and get back to it! _________________ Playing for a living...

Weights for 90 minutes or so every morning around 8 am at the gym...it's super close to home ...so if I need to rush back to the studio for something, I can. |

Morning. You're setting yourself up for a better day, mentally and physically, if you do low-intensity exercise in the morning. It directly benefits aspects of brain activity short-term, and long-term if the routine is maintained. |

Tennis at sunrise. Whole day ahead of you afterwards and only rarely do I need to stop for work. Weights and other stuff occasionally at other times but this is less certain. _________________ Jack Daniel
