This was the 2nd time I recorded at that particular studio. The 1st time I was rejected by a different person in charge of booking talent, mainly because I was living out-of-town.

With radio comes VO, as you probably know. And IMO if you're straddling the two desires, go with radio. It'll help you get your chops. Of course, I don't know what the opportunities are for ...
