Knowing the plot against me is escalating I decided that for this event I would rally some British MVO support. This backfired. Julie-Ann Dean who has a Voodoo doll of me and Elisa Canas who hates me with a passion AND is an accomplished Kick-Boxer are both attending ...Just to annoy me.

Just sitting down this morning and putting together my "to do list" - things that have to happen before Mommy leaves town for the weekend, so Mommy can leave town for the weekend....getting wicked psyched to see everyone....but also starting to stress- realizing just how long that darned to do list is....

Just checked off the first (unexpected) things from my to do list...I lost my glasses (two weeks ago and finally admitted to myself that I was not going to find them) so I called my eye doctor to get my script so I could get a new pair at the one hour place so that I could actually SEE everyone this weekend.... Explode

oops - prescription was too old, needed a new one...so spent the morning at the optometrist's then with eyes still fully dilated and new script in hand, headed to Lens Crafters. Never realized how hard it was to pick out glasses without my daughter standing next to me saying encouraging things like "Those make you look like Harry Potter fer Pete's sake ma." After trying on literally every pair in the sale bin, then looking at the 'almost on sale' items and the 'if you have to ask, you can't afford them' styles, I reached that level of complete confusion where ALL the glasses looked stupid I found a green pair which were kinda cool Geek

The lady helping me said "You sure" I said "no...but quick, before I change my mind again, please ring them up.'.

Now on to the rest of the list.... Meanwhile, I'm going to focus breathing Elaine Ninja

Green?? You bought Green glasses. I can't believe you bought Green glasses. Didn't anyone tell you "It's not easy being Green?" Now you'll have to make sure that the outfits you choose for this weekend don't clash with your new Green glasses. Wink
