One more weigh-in. Just saw a posting at I.V. that reminded me of my position on reads for churches and other "faith-based" entities: I'm happy to read spots and PSAs promoting a group's charity work or even treatises to attend services. What I won't do is be a preacher-by-proxy.

The scipt was for an audiobook, and the first line out of the gate was a fairly polarizing piece of religious dogma. Not for me. YMMV.

Dave,

If it's the one I'm thinking of the "budget" put me off before I ever looked at the script.

Hey thanks - I went to my natural salt 'n peppa color and am really liking it. My agent thinks I'm marketable on-camera (more than spokes which was a main stay there for a while) with this new young-old look.

We'll see!

Crossing the demographic line has its benefits.
All of a sudden, I'm getting on-camera calls again.

Two of the many BEAUTIFUL women on one VO-BB, what a way to go.

"Women are like fine wine, they just get better with age..."

Then there are us male counterparts who are "follically dis-advantaged"... O.K., less hair than my children had at birth... nobody wants me on camera... somehow the cameras break when the video is rolling... don't know why? And then, some wonder why I do Voice Overs????

Go figure...

Oh I don't know. I get told occasionaly I should be on TV. Don't know why, I'm plump and balding.

Frank, maybe you and I should do the next hair club infomercial. Wink

My last visit in front of the camera, the make-up girl put more "pancake" on my head than there was on my face. I think it was at the request of the guy setting up the lights. And then, almost on the hour... they powdered my nose, and powdered my head.

Judging by your picture, it looks like you got plenty of hair. Did anybody ever tell you that ya look a lot like Bill Cullen? Wink

Reality check, reality check... avatars may or may not represent the image of the actual user.
Actually I've tried several avatars. Some I like, some I don't. I could use my present photo on V123, but even that gets old after awhile (wait... I am old!). I found Bill Cullen in a search, and the pose just really clicked. Guess I could use a dog... but that's already been done.

I love your av Bailey. There's just something about the look on Bill's face that makes me smile every time I see it.

Do you believe in coincidences? We've mentioned erotica (or porn as it were) and up pops a job on IV looking for "...the versatile skills of confident, sexy, sensuous and seductive male and female voices..."

Now maybe it's not, but that's the vibe I get from the listing.
