Some of yiz may recall the recent trouble I've been having with a 2Khz whine that invaded my audio recorded thru my Mbox— it showed up when I began using an external LCD monitor.
Took a little messing about, but what I finally did was "lift" the power plug for the monitor. I just used one of those three-to-two prong adapters and poof!
No More Noise.
