I subscribe to the Adforum Newsletter— and they just sent this little blurb this morning:
"This ad is a true Dutch treat.Find out what an ad that gets downloaded 1,000,000 times in one week looks like."

In my house...it would be the other way around. She would build a walk-in wine room....and I would have the clothes! That is soooo funny! |

Interesting fact... filmed entirely on location about 400 yards from my Dutch home. It was no studio, but an existing walk-in closet. The Heineken Fridge room was actually the main living room that was treated with computer animation. What you see is not there at all, nor was it built for the scene... okay it was built, but entirely in computer software.
The late Freddy Heineken (Holland's best advertising creative and brewer ever) would have been very proud of this ad. I am too, and I don't even drink beer... I too would have opted for a walk-in wine cellar |

Great ad. Still wouldn't touch the stuff. Green bottles...blech. Makes a beer turn skunky.
