I'm currently running a cable from the Mbox's headphone jack to my stereo system (using a L/R RCA Y-cable). But only getting sound to one speaker. I assume I'd need to use both the TRS outs for a stereo signal? However, I've got my monitors plugged into those ports. Any work-arounds on getting a stereo signal to my stereo?

Maybe this is just too obvious, but did you plug in the jack to the headphone output completely? If it's only plugged in halfway then not all connections are made, resulting in one channel playback. And have you checked whether your cable is not the culprit? If it's an Mbox1, does the same thing happen when you use the output on the front of the Mbox? Just a few thoughts...

Hey Chris!

The Y cable should work. I've done this before to feed signal to a second pair of monitors. It's a stereo 1/4 inch jack to 2 mono RCA cables I'm assuming like in the image?

If so and you get a stereo signal with headphones plugged in to the headphone jack of the MBox, I'd look to your stereo receiver as the source of the problem. EDIT: (or a bad cable as mentioned before)

Also, if you are using a master fader in Pro Tools, make sure it's stereo and not mono. Although if you are getting a stereo signal with your Yammies, that wouldn't be the problem.

My last suggestion would be to make sure you mix knob is all the way to the right. (I can't remember if the mix knob on the Mbox effects the monitoring of the ins and outs or just the ins.)

Thanks, Josh, et al. Accidentally posted twice about this. Sorry.

I'm getting lots of static from the headphone jack from the back of the Mbox. Something is clearly wrong there. But the front headphone jack seems to be working OK now, at least when I tested it this morning. Used headphones and got stereo...and also to the stereo system. Previously seemed to only go to one speaker. Hm. Mix knob is all the way to the right. If I have another problem I'll post again.
