Whenever I step into the ol' booth to record an audition, I take off my watch (because if I don't, I'll hit it against the copy stand about 382 times during each read) and place it on top of my E-MU audio interface's breakout box on the little shelf I put in there.
Just now I realized how late it was and that I need to go out and get some lunch. Feeling naked without my watch, I went in and grabbed it to put it back on, and the E-MU has heated up the metal strap quite nicely, which, on this 20-degree, gray, Chicago day, feels pretty darn good.

Since I keep the heat down to about 58 at night, in the morning I LOVE my main bathroom with the radiator, the ceiling fan/heater and the heated floors. Since I put the washer and dryer in there it's even better because while I'm taking a shower I throw my clothes in the dryer so they're really toasty when I get out.

I was about to post a lengthy account of how I repaired the ceiling mounted heating unit in my downstairs bathroom, but all that's really important is the throne room is back to being toasty warm when necessary. Yay! _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.
