HOLIDAY.

Yea, timing is everything. And of course I have all holiday spots today - I did one MOH for an Israeli company first thing this morning... managed to get all the names right and there were some doozies believe you me. But can I say Holiday? Um, No.

Comes out ha-ey day. Joy. Rapture. But do I put that cup of coffee away till after voice work is done? Nah.

Instead of putting away the java, try doubling up on the coffee and then say "HOLIDAY". Wink

Boy oh boy, I have the same issue with the swallowed L now and then!

I have found if I purse my lips just a tad, I get the L to move forward.
It doesn't make any sense mechanically, but I think the concentration on your lips makes you pronounce things just a little closer to the front, and the L doesn't fall down your throat.
