I did a search, but I couldn't find an answer to my question.

I'm able to use my Zephyr as a phone patch, and I've done so somewhat successfully. I can hear them, they can hear me. However, when I try to playback the recorded audio for the person on the other line, the audio is very faint.

Any ideas?

My chain: mic to Symetrix hooked Zephyr XStream and Mackie 802 Board (Symetrix into channel 1, Zephyr into channel 2, MBox into 3-4).

I've tried all the knobs... did I miss one?

Yeah, Ben's the one who told me how to do this. He's such a wizard with this stuff!!! So, I first checked with him, but I believe he too was puzzled by the inability to playback. So, I was wonderin' if anyone else had any ideas...

Caryn:
With your signal chain, here's what I recommend:
1 mic to Symetrix
2 Symetrix ouput feeds 802 channel 1
3 Zephyr out L/R into channel 5-6
4 802 Aux Send into Zephyr Input
5 Mbox L/R outputs into channels 7-8
6 802 Main L/R outputs into Mbox inputs L/R

Now, to give them more playback level from the Mbox, just turn up the Aux (RED) knob on the Mbox channel (7/8 in this case) of the 802.

This is pretty much how I setup every VO studio I build, with variations here and there.

Say hello to Randy for me, if you ever see her down there in Fort Meyers.

Hi George!

I see Randy all the time (was over there yesterday), and talk to her every day! I'll give her your regards!!

THANKS for the recommendation. Wow... you really know your stuff, down to the knob colors! LOL. I'll play with it today and see how it goes. THANKS so much!!

Caryn
