Hi guys! Just wanted to share! It's YouTube-quality video, but I couldn't figure out where else to put it. (Is there another free video hosting service that has better-quality?) Here's the link:

Hmm.

The aspect ratio looks squashed.
What was the format?
If it was HD, which is 16:9 you need to do some conversion before you upload because YouTube is 4:3.

Google Video may be another option for good-quality video.

You are cute as a button, as usual.

Amy,

For HD format video, check out Vimeo. I think the video quality is MUCH better than YouTube and the videos can be linked and hosted just like the YouTube videos.

Oh, and you look stunning, but that's no surprise. And was it ever fun to see you again this past weekend.

Amy

A very good job on camera. I noticed that you video has a view at Standard Definition and View at Higher Definition on the lowered right under the first frame of video. Resolution if of course depended on the capture quality

I just up loaded my first YouTube video last night and for 3 min it was 800 + meg. YouTube only allows 1gig total transfer at any one time. As for aspect ration using a letter box can help. This is the link to it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsOjSHa4eQ0. On the lower right under the first frame is a selector to see it hat hire definition. I manage to get a conbinaton of full frame and letter box clips. The motion stuff was shot with a mini HD camera and then down sampled.

[b]Bob made the reference to this Vimeo [b]

Check this out this link http://www.vimeo.com/1287067

The long fluid master shot is a very difficult proposition for even the best cast and crew. This video, “University Lipdub ” is totally awesome.

I know they are doing lip sync; still the timing of all the gags is Supper Duper.

Ed

i love your stuff, amy! but the aspect ratio is goofed up. another vote for vimeo ... however - you CAN upload to youtube in the correct ratio - can't tell you exactly how --- but i know you can.

i shot this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAVF3pdtyJk in HD a few weeks ago ...

Good Job! You are very comfortable in front of the camera. I expect we will see you on HGTV before too long. Provided of course you would actually WANT a spot on HGTV.

Amy

I have a good friend who is good friend with Chri Lowe (founder and Presidnet of HGTV). You want me to put in a good word for you.

Ed

Then again maybe Life Styles would be better. My feeling was PBS when I was looking at you reel.

Your YouTube link didn't work for me. But this Vimeo one did, and it was awesome! That was amazing!
Todd: I loved your video and commented on it!

You found me out. That's what I really, really want.

I think his name is Ken Lowe, isn't it? I might be mistaken. Either way, I would be beyond grateful for any help toward making my little dream come true! Embarrassed

Amy,
Man, your personality really comes through the camera and you look marvelous (in my best Ricardo Montelbon accent). Still think you look like Barbara Feldon, only prettier.
And Todd nice piece of video. I didn't know you were a vidiot. I mean videographer.

I watched the whole thing even though I know I should have been changing a diaper and doing a demo. Sigh. It was great! Your style is wonderful and I learned about cholesterol free pizza. Can't beat that. Oh, and I vote vimeo, too.
