VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Hello all (can I call you family?). I've been lurking all week trying to catch up on things around here, laughing my butt off at most of the humor and fun, nodding in agreement (or screaming NOOOO at my monitor) at all of the advice and help and thoroughly enjoying pictures.

I'm Mandy and have been doing voice over work and audio production and engineer- for radio, bands, voice talents - in the Boston area for over 11 years, since my days at Emerson College. I've had a home studio for about 8 years now and love the freedom and flexibility though the constant talking to only myself may be showing. I run our little production and vo company, Dandysound, with my husband (who has a full time job being a production god elsewhere) while being full time mommy to a 3 and 2 year old who are currently locked in the closet while mommy is working (kidding. kind of).

I'm excited to be a part of this group and to learn from some who's voices I've been hearing in my ears for years. I hope I'll have some good stuff to contribute myself. If I don't, then feel free to cut me off!

Don't worry, none of us frowns on talking to ourselves...we all love our little padded cells.... it's the outside world that just doesn't get it...and I also giggle at my monitor...which results in Rolls Eyes

I'm ROB Ellis...I try to balance out Todd's rambunctiousness with some good old boring, tranquil quasi-midwestern-ness. And living in Ohio makes me very qualified to do so!

Thanks for the warm an twisted greetings everyone. Deciding who to trust should be eenterresting. Do I believe Todd who looks just like the waste basket in my studio bathroom? Or "Bailey" who's real name that probably isn't but who's face says 'go ahead and doubt me and see if you'll live to tell about it'? Or Peter who's trying to pass for that British guy I'd keep in my pocket if my pocket was big enough? Hmmm...
