Any one have any idea what has happened with the site?
I cannot get the site, only a search feature of register.com.
What gives?

hmmm...same deal here, Michael.
Oddly, I managed to submit an audition there a few hours ago. I like to think they heard it, decided to get out of the general VO world, and are now scrambling to become my exclusive agents instead.
(We were warned, by the way.....)

I should add that I was mystified - not for the first time - that my agent had that audition with a Tuesday noon deadline, my favourite voice site had a Wednesday noon deadline, and VOP had a Friday, 11:00 AM deadline.
September Day Leach aside, they always seemed to be lagging behind a mite. |

This is not lookin' good.
On the other hand, the mail is probably tied to the website, so naturally if the website is down for a technical reason, the email would also be down.
It won't take long.

Not usually. Web sites are usually different from mail servers.
If the site was down, you wouldn't get a domain registrar placeholder, you'd get a 404 error. What we're seeing is usually a clear indicator that the site is gone.

yeah, i saw that which is why I thought it might be a server thing. They've been operating a longer period than that. But honestly, I know very little about such things I'll be more worried if it's not back up tomorrow
