OK guys!
I need your help!
I have an Alesis Multimix8 Mixer
A JK Audio Auto Hybrid
my laptop.
I need to send a produced message on hold message to a voicemail system.....over the phone! (No there's no website to upload the audio to!)
The piece will have my voice, my client's voice & music.
So to I'm producing it and just want to somehow make a "patch" to record it from my PC to their phone system. (I'll have their login info)
I'm having a Brain Freeze as to what to patch where..... ACK!
Any help would be appeciated...of course this needs to get done tonight & I'm in the middle of recording a 10,000+ word French script!
Any Step-by-step help would be SO appreciated.....for some reason my brain just gets totally confused with phone patches!

Do you KNOW how good you guys are!
After writing it all out here...I figured it out!
It's JUST like my regular phone patch set-up BUT:
I Pan the Level 1 to center
Run a cable OUT of the MIC RCA jack on the mixer TO the headphone jack on my Laptop
THEN I engage the phone patch!
And start SoundForge!
Yay!!!!!!!!!

I was quite proud of myself actually! 
(Yeah, I know, doesn't take much  )
For some reason, phone patches have always scared me...don't lnow why, but the .pdf that I created way back has been a huge help in re-wiring my brain to start "getting" it!
