I'm getting a crackle right under the m & t in "This is a Room Test"

This is the same type of frustrating noise I get with my firewire setup.

The room is still pretty live, there is the "click" due to your computer in "room click test". There's a gate going on or some kind of volume modulation so the isolated room noise tells me very little...it's much hissier while you're talking.
