It's reasonable in that they are paying people $40 for reading a page of script from the comfort of one's own home studio. If they actually wanted somebody to record a professional voiceover whilst reading, I assume they'd have to pay more.

Isn't it great how it's perfectly acceptable to allow inexperienced people to speak off camera, but they'd never in a million years allow a noob to go on camera. It's not like a disembodied voice draws attention to itself or anything.

i like this part:

the only requirement is that you speak English clearly and confidently.

presumably you don't have to know how to interpret copy, read well, act, emote, deliver any kind of message, or care about rates

Saw it. Moved on. Didn't even send my usual "hey lowballer, if you decide you want to hire a real pro..."

wow... didn't even have to go to a pay-to-play site to get this.

We're still allowed to use that phrase, right?

I find it interesting that if you have experience you can submit some previous work but also need to include a resume. If you don't have experience well then just read the Ad.

Now lets ponder this for a minute. Does this mean I could take 30 or 60 seconds do a straight read mistakes and all. Then take another minute to send it off. So for two minutes tops I can make $40.00. That means for a cumulative hour of my time I can make $12,000. Hmmmm See ya later guys I just remembered I've got something important I've got to go do.
