.*..as in "Bloopers Soap.
Went into town yesterday for a seemingly annual revision to a spot done a couple of years ago (full payment again, so no complaints here.) Great client in studio, great engineer, and another client patched in via phone. First pick up line done. On to the next. Once through. Timing is great.
Phone: "Don, can you emphasize 'percent' a little more?"
Me: "Sure."
Phone: "and maybe the '10'.
Me: "Ummm...okay.
Phone: "And 'today'.
Me: "Bloopers Soap".
Phone: "Yeah. Hell, just emphasize everything."
We all had a good laugh. I love it when the client gets it. |

it's always better when the client is on the same page with you with this kind of stuff, as opposed to them having you do stuff like that and not realize what they're doing.
I see it a lot in industrial narration and have since learned to mentally project a "$" sign in front of the mic to remind me of the end goal. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

I liked getting this direction:
"Yeah, this is really over-the-top cheese, so make me love it." _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover
