In order to solve some minor problems I asked an IT expert to upgrade my PC and audio card.

PC was collected on Friday and it was returned this afternoon.

He took an image of my hard drive so that no data was lost, so far he has been unable to recover it. My ISDN codec won't function and the audio card won't do what we need it to do. He took my PC away with him....again.

As luck would have it, at the moment I am the worse for a cold virus so am unable to work for a few days. Perfect timing for a less than perfect set of circumstances.

I'm glad I got expert help just think of the mess I'd be in had I tried to do things on my own.

Was your IT expert part of the www.geeksquad.com ?.. or did he inform you that he was an expert... and in your moment of nasal discomfort, sinus headache, and feverish moments... you believed him? Confused

Thanks for the get well wish. As for drinking Jameson's. Irish whisky in the county of Morayshire, the single malt whisky capital of the world? One sure fire way of getting me thrown into Portgordon harbour ......Not so much a cold cure as great for pneumonia.
