You used to call them Tagalongs, but you've changed the name to Peanut Butter Patties. No matter. They still call the same siren song at night, while the innocent children slumber. Enchanted sweets, they are.
One box.
Fifteen cookies.
Sorry children...perhaps next time. _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

When I did a morning show we used to get a crate of Girl Scout cookies every year. We made up names for the cookies and I hear there were actually those who would try to order the "Navratilova's" and "Goolagong's." |

Note to self: ignore any further serving suggestions...
This is my daughter's first year as a Brownie and I don't really want the 18 pounds I've lost since December to come back... Didn't stop us from BUYING the little buggers, though. _________________ Greg Littlefield

you like me! you really like me!
We still have four boxes. I'd been getting in shape myself, and broke down. Maybe I wouldn't like them so much if I thought that those Girl Scout Cookies were made from real Girl Scouts. Or maybe if I imagined my eating them would make Greg gain that weight back. Couldn't live with that guilt. Or think of The Biggest Loser contestants.
Oh well, Either way, once they're gone, they're gone. _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

This year my wife bought 2 boxes of samoas, 2 boxes of the peanut butter ones, and a case of thin mints. How many are in a case anyway? I'm too lazy to go out to the deep freeze and look. Her plan is to only open one box of thin mints a month. We'll see how long that plan works. _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

Love the Skwirl, Bob
I live three miles from the GSA corporate headquarters, and have any Cookie-Mongers come by my abode since I moved to Georgia?
NONE!
I feel totally ripped off! _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

I'm a bit of a purist... TREFOILS is my favorite.
There's just something about shortbread... but I'll still eat whatever we buy.

For us we freeze the thin mints for a few days then grab a sleeve for the two of us, curl up on the futon and munch until gone. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

This is a quote from a friend of mine today. Quote: | I could eat a "tube" of Thin Mints" watching a half hour TV show. |

We do the same thing. And we pretty much buy only thin mints. They're the only ones that seem like a decent price. All the others have tons of packaging and very few cookies. _________________ Jeff

Funny to find this discussion. Hubby and I were watching National Lampoon on the telly the other night, and I started telling hims about how I used to be a girl scout and go around our neighborhood selling cookies. There's nothing like that over here as far as I know.
I liked the plain cookies. Yum!
Luckily similar cookies ( biscuits) are available over here at some of my fave coffee shops and Starbucks! They go down real nice with a cappucino! _________________ Intuit and do it!
